Release is a gate, not a formality. A synthesis run that completes successfully is still an unproven lot until it has passed independent analytical review, and a meaningful share of runs never make it through.
The sequence is fixed: synthesis, cleavage, preparative purification, lyophilisation under controlled humidity, inert-gas sealing, quarantine, then independent US laboratory assay. Nothing leaves quarantine on a promise.
Purity thresholds are set above industry norm, and there is no rework pathway. A lot that fails HPLC or mass confirmation is destroyed rather than blended down into a passing average, because blending is how variable material enters the market while still technically satisfying a specification.
Potency verification follows identity confirmation. Confirming that the molecule is what the label says, at the mass the label states, is what allows a researcher to calculate concentration with confidence.
Performance is the part that only shows up in your data: consistent lot-to-lot behaviour, clean solubility, and results that reproduce months apart. That is the standard the two-continent model exists to protect.
